A lot of planning is involved, especially for this particular arc. Each of the central characters has their own backstories, settings, enemies etc. And putting them together is another piece of work.
I wanted to write superhero stories that were actually fun to read, not like the Byzantine stuff DC and Marvel make. But keeping everything straight is hard sometimes. At least they have the advantage of more than one person working on it....
So I can't pop them out all the time- that's why I don't publish on Medium and Substack as often as some of the people I follow there.
