I love these supporting characters coming to life off the page. Well done. Is it part of a bigger piece?

Ok, wow... this reminds of something Kelly Link might write. I'm specifically thinking of her book, GET IN TROUBLE. So inventive!

In all of your research have you ever run across an article by Arthur Mann, from May 1934 titled "Mickey Mouse's Financial Career"? In Harper's Magazine. If not, and if interested, I've just come across it and read it. You probably know everything in it, but if you want I can copy it for you and send it along. Can't link because it's a paywall, though. All the early history of Walt and Roy and Ub and their scratching along with Columbia, UA and Powell trying to make things happen. But with lots of the bookkeeping included, some of it down to the penny!

I like your premise. I think I might be hooked.

This was a very interesting read - was with it from the beginning to end - wow - initially I thought this sounded completely diff from what you normally write - but got a nice surprise when I realized they were supporting characters in a show - excellent writing David!

This is a great read. So clever and imaginative. The idea of being supporting characters and not leads, and the attitude that evolves from that has much relevance and application to our world of real people. Nice job!
