You might remember when I posted this on Medium last year. It got a good response I wasn't expecting, and it seems like it's getting a similar response now on Substack.
I'm not really sure if there will be a sequel or not. I meant this as a one-off joke thing, but there might be some more in it with some more thought....
I wasn't expecting the ending at all - I mean they were all about going to make their demands heard and if not unleash utter destruction - oh well - is there a part 2 to this?
the robots found themselves caught by much larger beings, as those beings rushed inside whatever building they were inside and cavorted like ridiculous, crazed fools.
I had to re read the ending and discovered on second reading a much darker aspect to your story. Self inflicted destruction or inviting the enemy to your home. Curious as to what your intentions were as it is reflective of our society. Well written piece!
Tobor, Robbie, the Dalek - all beloved robot names in my life. I love this story; it's perfect. One moment that had me laughing out loud was when the Dalek croaked "Exterminiate" several time and then fired it's 'stupid' gun without reason. The ending was hilarious. Thank you for a delightful reading experience.

Really enjoyed this, David 😁👍🏼
This line made me imagine them in funny ways:
