David your writing is very very good. And I believe that it's worth paying for. I personally like paperback versions so I have a physical copy of what good authors write. I also have my book listed on Amazon. I need to advertise it more but I'm just happy to be published.
Hey, I can give you a freebie on my social media syndication, drop me a line at support@trafficgigs.com with a sales hype and one image and I will put it in front of 375,000 peeps for ya, freeeeeeeeeeeeee
David, I believe you deserve to be paid for your books. 🤗 I'm participating in the Smashwords campaign as well, for a reduced price. ~ Happy writing and good luck with Smashwords.
Maybe I will read it someday, dude. Sounds to me a bit like: well, that did not work "...so I’m hoping this will." Trying different things. But another consideration: everything really depends on Substack. When you hop onto a platform like Facebook, Substack or any of them, you need to accept the policy of the platform. Really a user simply has to accept what they do. Now, let's look at the philosophy of this "Substack" organization. I don't know much about them. They are typical Internet entrepreneurs as far as I know. That seems to be all they CAN be. I don't know who the hell these people are (I do know that one of the founding entities (people) worked as a publicity aide for Tesla/Musk) but as I understand it the philosophy is to just let free people do whatever. That is a Musk philosophy. Right. So now we gonna see how this idea actually works out in the end. So far, it done made these persons millionaires, several times over. As proto-libertarians (or actual libertarians, I don't know) the founders of Substack are declaring a belief that they have. Free country = everybody just doing what they want. As if the founding company has no influence whatsoever. Impossible and impractical.
But what was I ranting about here, Perlmutter? Ah, there was the idea of: trying different things. So.... you shall discover what works and what doesn't work. Maybe, I will offer this: ---just doing what you want works., but doing what you want works only as long as what YOU want does not go outside of whatever Substack the company wants. What do they want? I suppose they just want to let all persons be free? Somehow that does not seem to be at all possible. This is why I never liked the "libertarian" space. Well, this is getting into a tangled shape so I will stop. (stop "invading" David's space; but it is fair, because he invades mine regularly!

Where can we find them?
So, hey, I know of Smashwords....you getting traction?
I have made the odd sale, but within long time periods. I put my books up for free for their upcoming sale, so we'll see if it works.
I think they're still trying to recover from merging with Draft2Digital a little ways back.

Okay. I'll talk to you once I can figure out which book to use.
The sale is only on Smashwords, Pennie- you can buy the books on Amazon and elsewhere at the normal price.
