There are nitpickers for every form of fandom and scholarship.
Realism is important only if the animators are intending the art and the story to be realistic. If they're playing it for laughs, the more absurd, the better.
Your book AMERICA Tunes In looks really interesting. Do you think realism is important? I once read an article that berated Bugs Bunny because, unlike Mickey Mouse et al, there were no shadows. It seemed irrelevant to me, arguing that Disney was more realistic in the context of a talking mouse vs a talking rabbit
You know, you can use the "Custom Button" tool to make a nice blue clickable button out of that link! Then there's no fussing with copy-pasting the text link and searching for you on indiebooksource or books2read. The one hitch is that it won't accept long URLs, so you may need to use an URL-shortener like bit.ly or something similar.
(I have recently learned how to use the Custom Button. I am quite proud of myself and want to share my new skill with others! ;-)
You could also go and look at indiebooksource.com since my books are on sale there as well.
I followed this link but still had to search for your name. Then had to sort through more to find your specific page (https://indiebooksource.com/books-by-david-perlmutter/)
I didn't know you had so many, though I should and I recognized them. It just didn't compute. :)

"Custom Button", huh? I'll look that up...

Love this. Good stuff. This is a good function on substack
David:
when I saw the link [Books2read]
I only saw the home page for the relevant website.
[I had been to that website before - to buy or borrow other people's books].
So I thought I would type in "indiebooksource"+"David Perlmutter".
This looks like the link you were looking for: https://books2read.com/ap/nzVYpn/
Yes, that's the one. Thank you.
I just bought America Toons In as a Kindle. It's next in my reading queue!
