I'd be open to a possible review exchange. Something I could really use for my own substack development are reviews of the stories I've published, and suggestions for improvement from more experienced writers.
I feel the same way David I find it hard to ask people too review my books even when I give them a free copy. I would be happy to review some of yours. Would you be interested in reviewinf some of mine? Thanks. Gabriella
Hi David. Like most of us, I'm pretty swamped. But I'd be happy to review one of your books now (and maybe a couple of others later in the year). Which one would you recommend as my first one?
One of the issues I find with getting reviewers is finding people who like the kind of book you want reviewed. In my own small local writing group, there's such a range of preferred genres. And it's pointless to ask someone who reads sci-fi to review a romance, or someone who reads romance to review fantasy. Even in fantasy, there's a wide range.
I'm thinking it might be a good idea to form a group here on Substack where people can indicate what kind of books they write and ask for reviewers. I might do it myself.
Send me copies. I’ll commit to reviewing them. I write speculative political fiction set in Vancouver. Go figure. Walter Rhein and Andrew Gaertner reviewed my first effort on Medium. They were far too kind, because it was more of a draft tan a novel. I am currently engaged in a complete re-write of it. A review when complete would be nice, but no expectations. I’ve posted a couple of reviews on Medium (I;m cyberwyrd there too), if you want to check out my reviewing style.
Hi, I am interested. I would like to know what the book is about before I commit. Also, when I go to the link provided, there is nothing about your book. I also checked the links in the comments but got the same result.

David, following that link took me to my own (empty) review copies page.
Try this one: https://storyoriginapp.com/dashboard/reviewcopies
Nope. Same thing. Perhaps you need a link to your specific page.
The closest I can get right now is a link to a specific review copy page: https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopies/0b34b99e-6563-11ee-94b0-a7dc628a5238 Others can be substituted if you don't want this particular one.
I've posted links to all the copies to Notes, so you can find them easily if you follow me there.
That worked. I'll try that one for starters.
Hi David. I can confirm that the link is not working. It’s bringing up my own story origin page (my books).
Try this one. If you don't want to look at that particular book, I can send another: https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopies/0b34b99e-6563-11ee-94b0-a7dc628a5238
That one works
Good. Let me know if you want the others and I will add them here.
I signed up for an account, but I can't find you. What's your pen name? Campaign, etc?
I use my real name. I haven't got a campaign but I have review copies and am preparing reader magnets.

"Honey And Salt" has some of the characters I write about here on Substack. You can get it and the other review copies here: https://storyoriginapp.com/dashboard/reviewcopies
I've never used Story Origin before and I'm not finding it when I do a search. I must be missing something.
I would be happy to do some reviews. I just signed up for storyorigin - do I have to search your name to find review copies?
No: this is the list here: https://storyoriginapp.com/dashboard/reviewcopies
Oh, dear. I'll have to look into fixing those links.
Send the links and I will consider it, Gabriella.

I'd love to check it out!
I hope you get some ARC readers, I would but am swamped and unsure when I could finish it in time for you, if you're not in a rush then happy too.
