David, I love Cerberus and his acidic comments. I wish he was an animated cartoon; I would be his devoted fan. Our neighbor has a Chihuahua named Trixie. Trixie is adorable, but very nervous. Sometimes she comes to me for petting and hugging and holding, and other times she will come near, then flee, come near then flee. She is so funny. I think Trixie and Cerberus might be good buddies.
I think of it as the dog hugging me, and when he has had enough of me, he shakes his collar, wags his tail and finds a ball, as if to say, "You love me that much? Then throw me a ball!"
Wouldn't it be good if we could be as smart and centered as Cerberus!
Cerebus should have his own show.
HER!
Yes, I created her in part so that I could do that…

Note: SHE is feminine. But, otherwise, thank you for the compliments.
Oops! Sorry.
I do like hugging my pooches but I am very careful not to constrict them, and if they want to get away, I make sure that they can. A good reminder!
Hilarious and brutal as always—Cerberus never misses a chance to put humans in their place!
When you hug a dog, be gentle, or there will be consequences…And quite right, too.

Every day is "Hug a Dog Day" at our house so I can relate! I love these treks through your canine mind, David! Thank you!
Always happy to pat a dog; hugs, not so much.
Isn't every day hug-a-dog day?
